Sycamore School District Announces 72 ILMEA All-District Musicians

SYCAMORE – Twenty-nine high school and forty-three middle school students from the
Sycamore School District were recently selected as members of the 2024 Illinois Music
Educators Association (ILMEA) All-District Orchestras, Bands, Jazz Bands, and Choirs.
Students who were chosen for All-District ensembles recorded material for judges in
competitive auditions in October. Students selected for the jazz bands will perform a concert at
Hononegah High School in Rockton, Illinois on Saturday, November 9, while the selected Band,
Choir, and Orchestra students performed at DeKalb High School on Saturday, November 16.
