New Student Identification Cards

New Student Identification Cards

At the beginning of the 2022-23 school year, we announced that the district would be implementing new student identification (ID) cards with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chips for the sole purpose of logging when and where students enter and exit buses. By January 30, 2023 all students will have received their new ID cards. 

Starting Wednesday, February 1, 2023, all elementary, middle and high school students who ride a bus to or from school will be required to scan their new ID card upon entering and exiting the bus. Please review our entering and exiting the bus video for details on this process. Please note, students in our Little Spartans Early Learning Program will not be receiving ID cards.

Old student IDs may continue to be used for obtaining lunch in the cafeteria and renting books in the library.  However, only new student IDs can be used to enter and exit buses.  (High School students can continue to use their old IDs for scanning in at the school entrance.)
