2025-26 School Year: Early Dismissal Information for Families

As we prepare for the 2025-26 school year, we want to inform our families that two types of early dismissals will be in place throughout the year: Two-Hour Early Dismissals and Half-Day Dismissals. Please review the details below carefully, as dismissal times and lunch service will vary based on the type of early dismissal.

Two-Hour Early Dismissals

On these days, students will be served lunch before dismissal.

Dates:

• Friday, December 19
• Friday, March 20

Dismissal Times:

• Elementary Schools: 1:30 PM
• Middle School: 12:30 PM
• High School: 12:35 PM

Half-Day Dismissals

On these days, lunch will not be served, but students who sign up in advance can receive a bagged lunch to take home. Students who qualify will receive the bagged lunch at a free or reduced price.

Dates:

• Friday, September 19
• Friday, October 10
• Monday, June 1* (Last Day of Student Attendance)

* Please note: The last day of student attendance is always subject to change based on the use of emergency days. 

Dismissal Times:

• Elementary Schools: 12:00 PM
• Middle School: 11:00 AM
• High School: 11:05 AM

After-school care for elementary students will be available through OSCAR on early dismissal dates. Sign-up information will be sent at a later date. 

We will also send reminders throughout the school year to clarify exact dismissal times and lunch expectations, helping to avoid any confusion for families.
